Join me and Rabbi David Curiel at Ruach HaMaqom for our High Holy Day services this year in Burlington, Vermont — where the ancient rhythms of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur come alive through the creative, musical, and movement-oriented spirit of Jewish Renewal. Our warm Burlington community welcomes everyone—members and visitors, interfaith families, and those exploring Judaism—to experience meaningful prayer, soulful music, and deep reflection together. These sacred days invite us into the deep soul work of teshuvah—returning to our truest selves through reflection, forgiveness, and renewal.

September 23: Rosh Hashanah Join us for a beautiful, joyous and songful gathering at the Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center. Morning Service 10 am to 1pm; Tashlich to follow outdoors.

October 1: Kol Nidre is the spiritual highlight for many! Come early to beat the crowds at First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington. 5:30-7:30pm.

October 2: Yom Kippur will be a day of song, contemplation and spiritual soul-searching. Stay the entire day with us! Shacharit and Yizkor Morning Service 10am-1pm. Neilah and Break Fast 6-8pm, First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington.
